Meet the Staff

Meet the staff of E. Blackhurst!

Hannah is the owner and founder of E. Blackhurst. She graduated from Texas Tech University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree where you could typically find her hanging out with her Pi Beta Phi sorority sisters or cheering on the Red Raiders at football games. She started the store in her hometown of Austin, Texas as an online and event only store and after three years she was ready to open the first E. Blackhurst storefront. The beaches and historic downtown of Charleston had been calling her name for a while and she couldn't think of a better place to continue the store. Hannah loves the beach, warm weather, a nice cocktail, and of course new wardrobe additions. Find her at the store either staring at a computer screen, or schlepping around new inventory!

Flannery is from Travelers Rest, South Carolina and is a senior Historic Preservation major and Business minor. She is a sorority member at the College of Charleston. One of four girls, she loves helping her sisters and Mom always find the perfect outfit. When not studying or working, she loves to get in a walk to the battery or hit the beach at Sullivan's Island!

Leah is from Asheville, North Carolina and a junior Finance major at the College of Charleston. She loves nature, adventuring, and shopping. Her favorite thing to do is walk to the battery with friends and watch the sunset (ice cream cone in hand).

Maggie is from Silver Spring, Maryland and a rising senior at the College of Charleston, where she is studying communications, marketing and Latin American & Caribbean studies with a focus on fashion PR. She is a member of Delta Gamma sorority where she served as her chapter's Director of E-comm, and just spent her past semester abroad in Havana, Cuba! When she is not working at E. Blackhurst, you can either find Maggie indulging in something from Persimmon Cafe, window shopping down King Street or taking downtown Charleston by storm with her best friends.
